EDUCATION
Personal experience/upbringing:
As a child and young adult I was taught Critical Thinking and Media Studies by the Investigative Journalist and Lecturer on Media Studies at Cardiff University, Miranda Basner (Deceased)
I was given Art lessons by the South African Artist, Cecily Sash (Deceased) and by a former student of hers, Martine Basner. I was also given a thorough grounding in art history and theory.
I was educated in Politics, Anthropology and Literature etc. by my Grandmother, Mirium Basner (née Gordon) (Deceased), a Somerville College, Oxford Alumni. My Grandfather (H.M. Basner) (Deceased) was an anti-apartheid Lawyer and Politician in South Africa and a Journalist and Political Consultant in Ghana. I have studied his career deeply and read political documents relating to the Development Plans for Ghana under the Precedency of Kwame Nkrumah.
